We welcome members from all backgrounds and without any distinction as to rank, sex, race, color, language, or religion.

No, IARPO does not provide financial support to external projects or individuals. As a non-governmental, non-profit organization, our operations are funded through donations and support from our members and partners. Due to the nature of our funding, we are unable to allocate financial resources to external entities. Instead, we focus on offering professional development, mentoring, training, networking, and recognition opportunities within the law enforcement community.

Volunteer Office Manager (w) for IARPO
Position: Volunteer Office Manager (w)
Location: Remote (with the possibility of in-person meetings or events). Person should be in Switzerland and have B, C or CH residence permit.
Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension
Hours: 20 hours a week or more as needed
Salary: This is a volunteer position, and as such, no monetary compensation will be provided.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the virtual office.
Organize, schedule, and facilitate virtual meetings and webinars using online tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
Maintain an organized system of digital files, documents, and correspondence.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal communication.
Liaise with stakeholders, volunteers, and members of the organization, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.
Resource Management:
Track, manage, and procure office resources, including digital tools, subscriptions, and any other materials needed for the organization.
Coordinate and manage onboarding of new volunteers, providing them with the necessary training and resources.
Event Coordination:
Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of virtual and in-person events.
Manage event logistics, including registrations, attendee communication, and post-event feedback collection.
Reporting:
Prepare monthly reports on office activities, challenges faced, and recommendations for improvement.
Assist the leadership team with data collection and reporting as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in office management or administrative roles.
Proficient in digital tools such as Google Tools, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A passion for the mission and vision of IARPO.

Note: This is a volunteer position, and as such, no monetary compensation such as Salary or similar will be provided. You will receive transportation ticket for Zone 110 Zürich and mobile phone costs CHF 25.- per Month. If you are involved in IARPO projects with paid part time positions this will be negotiated.
