About me
I’m a passionate sports enthusiast originally from Lausanne, Switzerland. My journey in sports began with alpine skiing, introduced to me by my father, a former champion himself. My mother, a dedicated doctor, has always been a pillar of support in my life. I grew up carving turns on the slopes, but everything changed when I moved to the Engadin Valley at the age of 13. It was there that I discovered my love for cross-country skiing.
Over the years, this newfound passion grew, ultimately becoming the defining focus of my life. My dedication to skiing opened the doors for me to pursue higher education in Colorado, where I studied mathematics and physics while being part of the CU Ski Team. Together, we achieved the incredible feat of becoming national champions. By the time I graduated, my love for skiing had deepened to the point that I decided to move to Norway to fully immerse myself in the sport.
During my two years based in Oslo, I discovered that my true talent lay in long-distance races. This realization brought me back to Switzerland to join a French long-distance team, where I competed for five years. Those years were marked by both triumphs and challenges, including breaking the record for the Swiss time of the race Vasaloppet (3h36m54s) and a herniated disc that became my first significant injury and limited my ability to reach my full potential.
At the conclusion of the 2023 season, I knew I wasn’t ready to leave the life of an athlete behind. I decided to embark on a new adventure in biathlon. Since then, I have competed across Europe in the IBU Cup circuit, the B World Cup, growing and improving with each race.
My goals are ambitious yet clear: I aim to compete at the 2026 Milano Olympics. Every day, I pour my heart and effort into training to get closer to that dream. While I still have much to learn, especially when it comes to shooting, my strong stamina as a long-distance skier provides me with the physical foundation and confidence I need. On the days when my shooting is on point, I know I’m capable of delivering promising results.
Outside of sports, I have a wide range of interests that keep me energized and fulfilled. From playing the saxophone to engaging in theater, windsurfing, and exploring the world of economics, I’m always curious and eager to learn. I also enjoy immersing myself in creative storytelling through Dungeons & Dragons. However, the biggest challenge is finding enough time to pursue all these passions!
Family is incredibly important to me. I cherish the moments I spend with my parents, my brother, and my friends. Their love and support fuel my determination as I navigate the highs and lows of an athlete’s journey.
