Concert by the Entremont String Ensemble

1946 Bourg-St-Pierre
Rendezvous on Sunday July 28 at 3pm at the Hospice du Gd-St-Bernard and at 6pm at the Church of Bourg-St-Pierre.
If you've never heard Leopold Mozart's alphorn concerto, now's your chance, thanks to the Entremont String Ensemble conducted by Albin Favez.

The soloist will be Christophe Sturzenegger, horn player as well as pianist, composer and conductor.

The listener will be led through the intricacies of Fratres by Arvo Pärt, an Estonian composer whose language invites meditation. In a version for solo violin and strings, this work will be offered as soloist by Alexandre Favez. Its profound message will leave a lasting impression.

A Cassation by Franz Aumann, and a Serenade by Vasily Kalinnikov will complete this musical menu.
