Ausstellung: "Ursina Vinzens. Spannungsfelder"

Ursina Vinzen's (1916-2009) consistent artistic path can be clearly traced in the more than 180 works belonging to the Fundaziun Capauliana. The trained teacher, who described herself as self-taught, worked in her profession for a long time before devoting herself entirely to art. Although figurative moments appear again and again, it is abstraction that dominates her oeuvre. Nature - and the Engadin in particular - was an important source of inspiration. The exhibition offers an insight into an oeuvre in which a fascinating field of tension opens up between depictive, composed and freely translated color spaces.
