Serenade for highly-talented young string-players and pianists in cooperation with cultural department Baar.
Astona is a two-week international summer academy of music, accepting 32 highly-gifted, young string-players between the ages of 12 and 24 of 16 countries who aim to make music their profession. It takes place in the SONNENBETG in Baar from July 22 - August 6.
At public concerts the young talents have the opportunity to perform solo and or in chamber music groups and in a chamber orchestra (August 3 in St. Johannes Church in Zug). The top event is the gala concert on August 5 in St. Johannes Church in Zug. .
