Guided tour of Tarasp Castle

Discover the Lower Engadine's landmark and enjoy the unique panoramic view from the castle wall. There is plenty to learn and see on the tour, including the works of art by local artist Not Vital.

The public guided tours are always held in German. A handout and booklet are provided for foreign languages. Private tours are also available.

The main gate of the castle is closed punctually at the beginning of the tour. Later admission is not possible for organizational reasons. For this reason, we ask guests to be at the ticket office in the castle courtyard a few minutes before the start of the tour. The walk to the castle courtyard takes about 15 to 20 minutes from Tarasp Fontana or Sparsels.

The small, charming Café Schleppun, which is located at the foot of the castle, is open from Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 - 17:00.
